Sandroing: Tracing Kastom in Vanuatu

Join us for a special afternoon celebrating the closing of "Sandroing: Tracing Kastom in Vanuatu" with the artists and culture bearers who made this exhibition possible.

The program will feature closing remarks from Kaitip Wulep Kami, Curator at the Vanuatu Kaljoral Senta, and Felicia Katz-Harris, Director of Curatorial Affairs at MOIFA. Traditional dance performances and sandroing demonstrations will be led by Practitioner Edgar Hinge members of his family and other cultural knowledge-bearers.

Storytelling and cultural sharing will be woven throughout the afternoon.

ASL interpretation will be provided.Light refreshments will be served.
