4. From the winery: 2024 Rosé preview
We just finished laying down the 2024 harvest Rosé blend. This vintage wine is 88% Pinot Noir and 12% Chardonnay, sourced entirely from Washington's Yakima and Columbia Valleys. The nose already has the cellar and me anticipating its January 2026 release. Lots of cherries—Bing and Rainier—along with cherry blossoms and crisp acidity from hints of Honeycrisp apples. I can't wait to see what the lees impart on this sparkling Rosé. They tend to add layers of texture and depth, releasing compounds that create toasty brioche-like aromas.
