Actor Terry O’Quinn will participate in a live Q&A following a special screening of Stephen King’s Silver Bullet on Friday, Oct. 24, at Santa Fe’s Sky Cinemas.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Española Humane.
O’Quinn portrays the sheriff in King’s 1985 werewolf thriller, which also stars Gary Busey and Corey Haim. A veteran actor, O’Quinn earned a Primetime Emmy Award for his role as John Locke in the acclaimed TV series Lost.
“Terry is a big animal lover—unless it’s a werewolf trying to kill him,” joked longtime partner Kate Baldwin, Española Humane’s executive director.
Set in the small town of Tarker’s Mill, Silver Bullet follows a wheelchair-bound boy, his sister, and their uncle as they uncover the truth behind a series of grisly murders and take matters into their own hands to stop a terrifying creature.
The screening begins at 7 p.m. at Sky Cinemas, 1606 Alcaldesa St., in Santa Fe’s Railyard District.
