Join author and historian Garrett Peck for an engaging afternoon discussion of his new book, The Bright Edges of the World: Willa Cather and Her Archbishop. Through letters, postcards, and historical insight, Peck explores how Cather’s travels in the Southwest—and the people who shaped her life—inspired her masterpiece, Death Comes for the Archbishop. Garcia Street Books will be on-site with copies available for purchase.

About Garrett Peck: Garrett Peck is an author, historian, and Santa Fe–based guide specializing in adventure travel and historical interpretation. He has written nine books, leads the Willa Cather Santa Fe tour, and lectures for institutions including the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Associates, and National Archives.
