Sea Lion Encounters
This is a High Flying Sea Lions show mixed with a full day interactive exhibit. Brought to you by world famous Dr. Jenifer Zeligs, California State University, director of the university’s teaching aquarium, home to 4 rescued sea lions with hard luck stories of survival. These Sea Lions have been featured on the National Geographic Channel, the Tonight Show, and one of them, the famous “Sake,” was selected to be the official mascot at the 1998 World’s Fair in Portugal. Don’t miss these amazing animals, and if you are lucky, you might even get a kiss!
“All American” Dive Show
This Patriotic High Dive Show features World Class Divers mixed with music, stunts, comedy and High Dive Action. Lead by America’s Got Talent high dive act leader and previous High Dive World Record Champion, Dan Kunze, this show is sure to leave you sitting on the edge of your seat.
WOW! Kids Celebration
The Kids Celebration is a highly entertaining kid-friendly game show that is designed for families to enjoy together. Kids Celebration is a “fun-tastic” family experience unlike any other game show. Kids are electrified by the colorful stage, music and games that are designed to foster friendly, team-style competition. This show guarantees laughter as children engage one another in an all-out extravaganza.
Street Drum Corps
World Famous “Street Drum Corps” will be drumming up high energy acts daily at the 2015 New Mexico State Fair. This unique industrial percussion act will bang on anything to create rhythm and music to get you moving to the beat of their own drum! This group has toured the world and has taken on honorary members such as Motley Crue’s, Tommy Lee; actor, Jeremy Piven; Red Hot Chili Peppers’, Chad Smith; and Guns n’ Roses’, Matt Sorum.
Can you think quickly on your feet? Are you good at trivia? Then come visit the “Game Show” daily, where your trivia skills will be tested for prizes and bragging rights. With a Game Show style set up and a real live Game Show Host, you can be picked out of the audience for a play on games such as Family Feud, Jeopardy, Deal or No Deal, and Beat the Clock. Could you be the lucky winner that takes it all home?
Scott’s Crazy Magic Show
Back by popular demand, Scott’s Crazy Magic Show, is a 30 minute dynamic magic act filled with sleight of hand and leaves you guessing how did he do that? Kid friendly and family oriented, this one man show is sure to leave the little ones mesmerized by the mystery of magic.
Cool Dogs JUMP!
Meet the seven time World Champion Frisbee & Tricks Dogs in the Youth Hall Courtyard. You will be amazed by these four legged fury friends who will dazzle you with their stunts and tricks. Cool Dog Productions, has taken a genuine love of animals and turned it into an action-packed performance that will showcase acrobatic dogs performing amazing feats, catching Frisbees, and more!
Great American Pig Races
Cheech has brought a few of his friends for some fair time fun! They are faster than a chicken, chubbier than a goat – round, cute and built for speed. Here come the pigs! The latest racers to hit the Great American Speedway, each exciting educational show includes four heats featuring audience participation, pig trivia, and prizes for the winning cheerleaders. Pick out your favorite porcine pacer and root for them!
The competition is fierce for these pint-sized city slickers ages 3 to 6 years old. Participants in the miniature rodeo compete for prizes and are rewarded for good sportsmanship, taking turns, sharing, following directions, and developing good listening skills.
Rio Grande K9 Barrel Racers
Watch as these amazing rescue canines run around cones and head for the finish line, only for treat of course! This animal rescue group spends their days loving, caring, and training these dogs. This dedicated team of volunteers they are making these pups dreams come true!
Want to test your problem solving skills? Get lost in the New Mexico State Fair’s newest attraction. Twists, turns, and dead ends will keep you guessing until you find your way out. Just when you have mastered the maze, this crazy contraption changes! New mazes are set up daily and are sure to keep you guessing.
