Tonight’s show will be held at the Santa Fe High School.
The City of Santa Fe along with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Fe and county officials are proud to present this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show at Municipal Recreation Center on southwest side of town. The city and county Fire Departments are cooperating to ensure a safe show.
Gates for the Municipal Recreation Center located at 205 Caja Del Rio Rd Santa Fe, NM 87507 open at 5 p.m. Concessions will be available, therefore no outside food or beverages will be allowed. Security will be present to ensure no prohibited items on are the site.
With the extreme fire conditions this year, all residents are encouraged to attend the professional show and forgo their own fireworks at home.
Parking for the show will be in the lot north of the complex’s soccer field for a $5 donation. The event is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Fe. The show will start at 5 p.m., with local bands scheduled to play until dusk, when the fireworks will launch from the rugby field. Organizers are discouraging tailgating and ask people not to bring outside food or drink, since a concession stand will be operating inside the park.
