This summer join us for our PNM POWER CAMP which is a unique program made possible by PNM and presented in cooperation with Albuquerque Public Schools, entering 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to learn about the math, science, technology and engineering that powers the world. Students can apply to engage in a week-long camp with PNM professionals from the energy industry and highly qualified math and science teachers.
This, full-day, week-long summer camp is for APS and APS charter school students who are interested in and possess strong skills in math, science, and energy. It’s a great way to propel students into a new level of understanding about topics important for the future.
Camp Dates and Locations
Session A: June 16 – 20, Manzano High School
Session B: June 23 – 27, Atrisco Heritage Academy
Session C: July 7 – 11, West Mesa High School
Session D: July 14 – 18, Eldorado High School
- Students will build their math and science skills and meet PNM engineers and technical experts.
- Each week of camp can accommodate up to 40 students. Students must attend all five days of the camp in the week they select.

Parents should submit the student application, recommendation form and payment in person when they register their child for camp. Payment details are included in the application.
