Concordia Santa Fe’s Wind Orchestra presents its first concert of 2018 with Musica Mundo Espagnol, featuring the works of Ginastera, Revueltas, Rodrigo, Surinach, and others. The 40 member ensemble will be led by Dr. Michael Mapp, Director of Bands at New Mexico State University. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted at the door.

Santa Fe, New MexicoThe mission of Concordia Santa Fe is to enrich the cultural life of northern New Mexico by performing and promoting music of the highest caliber, and to provide an opportunity for musicians to perform in professional wind-centric ensembles that serve culturally diverse populations and aid in the music education of Santa Fe and the surrounding communities.

- To be recognized locally, nationally and internationally as an organization of premier woodwind, brass and percussion ensembles, fostering music appreciation and the life-changing value it provides our musicians and listening audience
- To familiarize listeners and performers with the wind ensemble concept as an exciting musical art form
- To provide opportunities for continuing education among northern New Mexico’s accomplished musicians through guest conductors and mentoring.
