EXPLORE THE EARLY DAYS OF CANCER RESEARCH
Join CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Cancer Center and New Mexico Cancer Care Associates for a FREE movie screening of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks — a moving film featuring an African American woman living in poverty whose cells, without her knowledge, were taken in 1951, and sold to develop polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping, in vitro fertilization, and more. Take part in a pre-poll with CHRISTUS St. Vincent’s top cancer care providers as well as a panel discussion and Q&A session after the movie.
