October 1984 – Ski Area Purchased from Kingsbury Pitcher by Sandia Peak Ski/Tram & Alvarado Realty, negotiated by Ben Abruzzo.
Summer 1985 – La Casa Mall lower base facility constructed.
November 1988 – Santa Fe Super Chief Quad Chair Lift Opened, first quad chair in NM cost $750,000, 4,300 feet long, 900 foot vertical rise. Easy Street Beginner Chair Lift Opened with lift operator huts made from the original Tramway Cars cost $250,000, 1,500 feet long, 175 foot vertical rise.
February 1987 – Winter Fiesta held for the first time.
Fall 1989 – Skier Plus Card Introduced, First Traks Trail Opens, Ski Service Center opens at Hoffmantown Square.
Summer 1991 – Chipmunk Corner Children’s Center Construction.
Summer 1994 – Sewer Plant Construction.
Summer 1995 – La Casa Mall Elevator Construction.
1995-96 Season – Bar Code Ticketing System.
Summer 1997 – Removed Trees for Parking Lot Construction.
Summer 1998 – Parking Lot Construction.
Summer 2000 – Additional snow making.
December 2000 – Ski Service Center closes at Hoffmantown Square.
Summer 2005 – Millennium Chairlift construction – Triple Chair, 5,730 feet in length, 1,530 foot vertical rise.
Summer 2008 – Conveyor Lift at Chipmunk Corner, Autoloader installed at Quad Lift.
Summer 2009 – Conveyor Lift installed to replace rope tow at Pine Flats.
2009/2010 Season – Peak Plus Card introduced.
Summer 2011 – Long anticipated expansion of La Casa Lodge started, completion expected winter season 2012/2013.
November 2012 – Expansion & Renovation of La Casa Lodge Completed for opening.
August 2013 – Purchased and installed one of kind Winterstieger Mercury. A fully automated ski and snowboard tuning machine.
October 2015 – 5 million gallon water tank installed for improved snowmaking.
