

Make this holiday season extra special with a memorable and soul-feeding stroll among the cultural treasures on Santa Fe’s Museum Hill Holiday Stoll on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Join us for this annual tradition for friends and family. These are the events planned for the annual Holiday Stroll by the individual Museum Hill entities.
Museum of Indian Arts and Culture
* 4 – 7 p.m. Free admission
* 5 p.m. & 6 p.m.: Tewa Women’s Choir in MIAC Theater
* 5:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.: Native American dances
* Renata Yazzie (Diné), pianist, playing classical and holiday music indoors
* Outdoor tree lighting
* Ornament workshop for adults and families in Museum classroom
* Enjoy holiday refreshments
* Traditional Western holiday music played in Navajo
Museum of International Folk Art
* 4 – 7 p.m.: Free admission
* 4 – 7 p.m.: Paint a gourd ornament for the holidays, and enjoy refreshments in the Atrium
* 5:15 – 6:45 p.m.: Pasión Flamenca –Luís Campos, Fabian Sisneros, Ronaldo Baca, and Nicolasa Chavez present flamenco holiday songs in Vernick Auditorium
Pasión Flamenca is a group of musicians who perform and present the art, heritage and culture of Flamenco. Made up of guitarists, singers and percussionists, Pasión Flamenca will share the wonderful sounds of Villancicos, traditional flamenco holiday songs from Spain. This is not Jingle Bells in Spanish but a fabulous rendering of songs dating back to the Middle Ages on the Iberian peninsula and developing through generations of Gitano communities into the lively and mesmerizing flamenco versions sung currently.The group is made up of Luís Campos and Ronaldo Baca on guitar, singer Nicolasa Chávez and percussionist Fabian Sisneros.
Winter hours are now in effect at Museum of Indian Arts and Culture and Museum of International Folk Art, Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 27, 2020.
