The New Mexico Actors Lab is pleased to announce the upcoming production of Three Tall Women, written by Edward Albee and directed by NMAL Founder and current Artistic Advisor, Robert Benedetti.

The play will run from August 27 - September 13 at the Actors Lab theater.

Pulitzer Prize winning Three Tall Women centers around a young lawyer, referred to only as “C,” who has been sent to the home of a client, a ninety-two-year-old woman only referred to as “A,” to sort out her finances along with the help of “B,” the woman’s caretaker.

In time, we discover that A, B, and C become the different stages of A’s life: the imperious elder, the regal matron, and the young woman of twenty-six.

Her life, memories and reminiscences are laid out for display, the character cascading from regal and charming to vicious and wretched as she remembers her husband and their cold, passionless marriage, and her son and their estrangement.
