Directed by Christopher Luscombe in his company debut, this spectacular entertainment for all ages will feature the sumptuous look of Victorian pantomime with dazzling stage effects by Chris Fisher who created the illusions for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. The cast includes Josh Lovell as Tamino, Joélle Harvey as Pamina, Rainelle Krause as the Queen of the Night and Alexander Köpeczi as Sarastro, all company debuts.

Synopsis
Act I
Act II
The Three Ladies kill a huge serpent that was chasing Tamino, then go to inform the Queen of the Night of his arrival. Papageno introduces himself, boasting to Tamino that he was the one who slew the beast. The Ladies return to give Tamino a portrait of Pamina, claiming she has been enslaved by Sarastro, and they temporarily padlock Papageno’s mouth for lying. Tamino is charmed by the image of Pamina. The Queen appears, lamenting the loss of her daughter, and charges Tamino and Papageno with Pamina’s rescue. The Ladies give Tamino a magic flute and Papageno magic bells to ensure their safety. Monostatos tries to capture Pamina but is frightened away by Papageno, who tells Pamina that Tamino loves her and intends to save her. Tamino arrives at a temple and is told that it is the Queen, not Sarastro, who is evil. He plays his flute, hoping to make Pamina appear. She and Papageno are nearby and, thanks to Papageno’s magic bells, are able once again to escape from Monostatos. Sarastro promises Pamina eventual freedom. She sees Tamino and they fall in love.
Las Tres Damas matan a una enorme serpiente que perseguía a Tamino y van a informar a la Reina de la Noche de la llegada de éste. Papageno se presenta y presume ante Tamino de haber sido él quien dio muerte al monstruo. Las Damas regresan para entregar a Tamino un retrato de Pamina y para comunicarle que ha sido esclavizada por Sarastro, y castigan temporalmente a Papageno cerrándole la boca con un candado por mentir. Tamino se queda prendado de la imagen de Pamina. Aparece la Reina, que lamenta la pérdida de su hija y encarga a Tamino y Papageno que la rescaten. Las Damas entregan a Tamino una flauta mágica y a Papageno unas campanillas mágicas para protegerlos. Monostatos intenta capturar a Pamina pero Papageno lo ahuyenta; éste le dice a Pamina que Tamino la ama y que pretende salvarla. Tamino llega a un templo, donde le dicen que la malvada es en realidad la Reina, no Sarastro, y toca su flauta con la esperanza de hacer aparecer a Pamina. ACT II
Tamino and Papageno begin the first of three initiation trials to join Sarastro’s temple of brotherhood. Sworn to silence, Tamino resists the temptations of the Three Ladies, but Papageno quickly succumbs. Monostatos again approaches the sleeping Pamina but is warded off by the Queen of the Night, who gives her daughter a dagger with which to murder Sarastro. Monostatos renews his quest when the Queen vanishes, but Pamina is rescued by Sarastro, who consoles her. Papageno catches a glimpse of Papagena, but is warned that he must succeed in the trials if he is to have her for a wife. Pamina is despondent over Tamino’s silence, but is saved from suicide by the Three Boys. She is reunited with Tamino and they undergo the trials by water and fire, emerging triumphant thanks to the magic flute. Papageno also is saved from attempted suicide by the Boys, who remind him to use his magic bells to summon Papagena. The pair plans for a fertile future. The Queen of the Night, her Three Ladies, and Monostatos attack Sarastro’s brotherhood, but are defeated and the victors celebrate the triumph of enlightenment over the powers of darkness.
Tamino y Papageno comienzan la primera de tres pruebas de iniciación para ingresar en el templo de la hermandad de Sarastro. Tras haber jurado silencio, Tamino resiste las tentaciones de las Tres Damas pero Papageno sucumbe rápidamente. Monostatos vuelve a acercarse a Pamina, que está dormida, pero la Reina de la Noche lo ahuyenta y entrega a su hija el puñal con el que debe asesinar a Sarastro. Cuando la Reina desaparece, Monostatos reanuda su intento pero Sarastro rescata a Pamina y la consuela. Papageno vislumbra a Papagena pero le advierten que solo podrá tenerla como esposa si supera las pruebas. Pamina, desesperada por el silencio de Tamino, intenta suicidarse pero los Tres Muchachos la salvan. Se reúne con Tamino y ambos afrontan las pruebas del agua y del fuego, saliendo victoriosos gracias a la flauta mágica que le dieron las Tres Damas. Papageno también es salvado de un intento de suicidio por los Muchachos, que le recuerdan usar sus campanillas para llamar a Papagena. La pareja planea un futuro prometedor. La Reina de la Noche, sus Tres Damas y Monostatos deciden atacar la hermandad de Sarastro pero son derrotados. Los vencedores celebran el triunfo de la luz sobre las fuerzas de la oscuridad.
