Once a month, the DL SF transforms into The Darkwave Lounge.

We're here to take you down an audio-visual journey into the shadows, we celebrate the setting sun and the dance continues.

The Darkwave Lounge will manifest in the common area and the front porch of the DL at the 18th hour, or Six O'clock, each month on the last Saturday. In these manifestations, we evoke Billiamzebub & AudioBuddha our house DJs and collaborators, Hieronymus J & Julian Addams our hosts and house VJs, and the denizens of the City Different and beyond who wish to ride a darker wave.

This music focused evening will feature darkwave, post punk, synthpop, goth and techno in an environment that welcomes dancing and conversation. Our dance floor is waiting, and it is currently concrete. While we likely will have a few areas with throw-rugs, please be aware and prepared with appropriate footwear. We'll have shade during the day and we'll light up the night. We encourage folks to wear layers to accommodate the weather's whims- the Darkwave Lounge manifests in rain or shine.

We'll have a booth with cool sparkling waters and other refreshments available by donation. No bar, simply hydration and snack options. (Hot teas available for cool spring nights!)

No unsupervised children, no pets. 18+ after 10pm

The DL SF is a multi-use studio space. Radically queer, antiracist. Bigots are never welcome. Folks acting inappropriately will be asked to leave.
