Come learn about the night sky at the Garden after-hours with the Santa Fe Stargazers. Enjoy an evening of celestial wonders as we gaze at the planets and stars.
You can learn to navigate the stars with telescopes and planispheres. (You'll have an opportunity to make your own planisphere to take home.) Whether you're an experienced stargazer or just curious about the cosmos, join us for our monthly nighttime Stargazing series.
Before you arrive, download your preferred star map to your smart phone. (Examples: Stellarium, Sky Tonight, Star Tracker, etc.)
About Santa Fe Stargazers:
The Stargazers are a group of Santa Fe area residents who share a passion for observing the day and night sky, be it by naked eye, binocular, or telescope. They meet regularly to observe as a group, to share their passion for the night sky with the public, and to increase knowledge, understanding, and enjoyment of astronomy. As they keep promoting amateur astronomy in Northern New Mexico, they also engage in advocacy for dark skies, so that all may enjoy the beauty of the night sky. Visit Santa Fe Stargazers
