Walk off your winter blues and join Park Rangers for a guided hike to learn how local plants and animals conserve energy to survive the winter. The hike concludes with an opportunity to observe the sun at the analemma kiosk to mark the Winter Solstice!

• Location: Main parking lot, 1/2 mile north of Cerrillos village on County Road 59.

• Activity: Moderate hike with uphill sections and varied surfaces (sandy to rocky).
