Get ready for the social dance floor by exploring salsa basics, combos, and fun activities to build confidence with movement to the music. The 4-week session starts today and drop-ins are welcome!
The instructor, Marie Maez, brings a blend of Salsa-on-One with Cuban-influenced movement. She studied at Seattle's Century Ballroom, attended and taught at Albert Torres Salsa Congresses, and trained in Costa Rica with Billy Corado, World Champion and resident of Dancing with the Stars in San Jose. For ten years, she ran a dance company in Olympia, Washington, bringing salsa dance and music to schools and community events.
