NEW MEXICO ACTORS LAB

presents

LUNAR ECLIPSE

The New Mexico Actors Lab is pleased to announce the anchor show of our 2026 season: Lunar Eclipse, the latest play written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, Donald Margulies. The play will run from November 5 - 22 at the Actors Lab theater.

“Marriage, connection and the moon.”

Late on a summer night, in a field on their Kentucky farm, a long-married couple, George and Em, have settled outside to watch a lunar eclipse. As the seven stages of the celestial phenomenon unfold, the two sip bourbon and reflect on land and legacy, children and dogs. But as more and more is revealed, they realize they are as much a mystery to each other as the heavens above.

* Stay tuned for an announcement about a performance to be held in collaboration with Española Humane, (apropos of the dog thread)!

Tickets are now on sale at the NMAL website, www.nmactorslab.com. Flex Passes are $160 (five shows or admissions for the price of four). Individual tickets are $40, with discounted tickets (see website for details) and a $20 preview performance on Thursday November 5th. If seats are available, $5 rush tickets will go on sale five minutes before each performance.
