The National Museum of the American Indian’s Native Cinema Showcase is an annual celebration of the best in Native film. Communities across the globe are increasingly looking to the past to move forward.
By embracing oral histories, knowledge, and ancestral lands, Indigenous peoples are creating films to better understand the past and imagine a new way of thinking for the future.
The showcase provides a unique forum for engagement with Native filmmakers from Indigenous communities throughout the Western Hemisphere and Arctic.
Screenings are FREE. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. All programs are subject to change.
