Heather Hearts celebration hosts Española Humane adoptions

Española Humane will bring adoptable puppies to El Rey Court’s annual music and food celebration on Sunday to its “favorite girl and forever sweetheart.”

The Heather Hearts celebration runs from 3-10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Santa Fe landmark, 1862 Cerrillos Road. The shelter will bring foster puppies from 5-8 p.m. In addition to music, dancing, and food, El Ray will offer a raffle, and a percentage of the sales of the signature drink, The Heatherita, will benefit the shelter.

The event is hosted on the lawn and inside the court’s La Reina, with DJ Miss Ginger spinning vinyl inside.

Every adopted pet will receive a special gift, including a sample bag of pet food and delicious treats to kick off their new journey on a sweet note. Additionally, all pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and eagerly awaiting becoming cherished members of loving families.
