Our hands are in constant motion—typing, holding, lifting, creating, and interacting with the world around us. Over time, this continual use can lead to tension, stiffness, or pain that affects not only our hands, but the connections into our arms, shoulders, and even torso.
In this Hanna Somatics class series, you will learn techniques to ease pain, reduce tension, and improve mobility from your hands to your heart. Through gentle movements, you will explore ways to release restrictions in your upper extremities and torso and enhance your coordination and dexterity. This series will offer you tools that you can bring into your personal practice to continue supporting your career, passions, and daily activities.
Drop-ins are welcome for students who cannot make the whole series. Classes are verbally guided and will be taught in reclined positions on the floor. Recorded replay with one week unlimited access will be sent to all students.
