2022 NYC Bessie Artist Antonio Granjero and flamenco dance company Entreflamenco present the first of four production seasons with a full length dance production at their venue El Flamenco Cabaret located in the historic plaza of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Entreflamenco celebrates 14 years of production in Santa Fe. The 2026 year holds in store nearly 200 public performances with national touring. The new year kicks off upcoming collaborations preceded by ending 2025 with a sold out Holiday season and a headlined appearance at the Atlanta Flamenco Festival where they received raving reviews.
Director Granjero was named 2022 NYC Bessie artist in the category of "Outstanding Performance" for his appearances at the Joyce Theatre, the only New Mexican to ever be nominated for such an award. Entreflamenco was named 2017 Mayor Arts Award recipient to the City of Santa Fe.
This spring season he will be joined by internationally acclaimed vocalist and guitarist Juan Jose Alba, a finalist from Spain’s 2020 edition of LA VOZ (The Voice) on Television Española & NM Music Award Winner to Best Music Video, co-director/dancer 2025 Creative West Artist Recipient Estefania Ramirez and returning company member, “El Tellez” from Spain.
“El Tellez,” like Granjero, hails from Jerez de la Frontera and has performed as a recognized flamenco dance artist throughout Spain, Europe and Asia; for the Kings of Spain and the United Kingdom. He has received the National Dance Award 'Perla de Cádiz’.
El Flamenco Cabaret is located at 135 W. Palace Ave in downtown Santa Fe, NM. Their spring season will run from Fridays and Saturdays starting March 6 through June 20. About El Flamenco Cabaret
To maintain the integrity of their craft, Entreflamenco sought a venue worthy of their work, culminating in the El Flamenco Cabaret Performance Venue on Palace Avenue. The intimate venue was specifically remodeled as a cabaret-style performance space and is the only venue dedicated exclusively to flamenco in Santa Fe.
