Immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos in Santa Fe County!
This beloved celebration honors loved ones who have passed with hundreds of marigolds, colorful masks, and decorative skulls.
Start on Sunday, October 25 (11 AM–4 PM) with a FREE day at the Museum of International Folk Art featuring sugar skull decorating, face painting, folkloric dance by Los Niños de Santa Fe, and serving traditional Pan de Muerto and Chocolate Mexicano.
Then head to the historic Santa Fe Plaza on Friday, October 30 (4–10 PM) for free festivities including mariachi music, boleros, papel picado, food trucks, and colorful decorative skulls.
The celebration continues Saturday, October 31 (11AM–10 PM) with more live music, decorative ofrendas, and a breathtaking candlelight parade. A moving celebration of life and remembrance not to be missed.
