The world's No. 1 cat video festival is back with a screening in Santa Fe at Sky Cinemas in August to benefit Española Humane.
The Cat Video Fest 2025 will show at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at Sky Cinemas, 1606 Alcaldesa St., in the Railyard District. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the shelter. For tickets and other information, visit https://railyard.skycinemas.com/movie/VC001888
Organizers describe Cat Video Fest as a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, which raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.
The fest is presented by Oscilloscope Laboratories and edited by Will Braden. The 74-minute film is a compilation of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses.
The Wall Street Journal says, “watching silly cat videos is good for you.”
Española Humane is Northern New Mexico’s leading open-admission shelter with the only free spay/neuter clinic and largest free trap-neuter-return program for community cats. For more information about services, visit espanolahumane.org.
