In partnership with the Santa Fe International Literary Festival, join us for the second annual Writing on the Rails on Thursday, May 14!

After last year’s sold-out debut, this intimate writing retreat returns, co-hosted by Albuquerque’s inaugural poet laureate Hakim Bellamy and newly minted Tucson poet laureate Logan Phillips, fresh from the release of his new book RECKON.

Set against the rhythm of the rails and the sweep of the high desert, riders are given rare, unhurried time to write, reflect, and share prose and poetry inspired by guided prompts and the landscape beyond the window.

An evening for conversation, craft, and connection within the Literary Festival community.
