The Museum of Interactive Art is unlike any other art museum, inviting visitors to move and change the art by interacting with visually dramatic exhibits.
Hi, I’m Aaron Harrington and I create Interactive Art
I was born and raised in Santa Fe NM being told “don’t touch the art” at the numerous galleries and museums here.
So naturally, I love creating hands-on interactive art and I’ve created the Museum of Interactive Art, here in the old foundry at Shidoni in Tesuque NM.
Everything in the universe is constantly changing, why shouldn’t artwork?
The Museum of Interactive Art offers exhibits that are constantly changing as visitors interact with them. Unlike any other art museum, you can actually move and change the art.
This museum transforms passive viewers into active participants through interactive art exhibits such as:
The Tesseract Light Box folds moments in time and space into a 4th-dimensional space, by inviting you to remove images from the wall and layer them in the lightbox.
The Poetree that lets you flip words from pop culture into sentences.
The Parallel Reality Portal is a curved mirror that invites you to enter parallel realities.
Also there’s a build-a-beast workshop, interactive projection, interactive collage and more.
My goal is to expand your consciousness through these interactive experiences.
