Given our proximity to Mexico, and our Wild West roots, tequila and whiskey tend to be the spirits of choice in the Land of Enchantment.
This fun and interactive specialty class will have you mixing, stirring and drinking in the history of these two iconic cocktails as you learn the classic recipes, proper techniques, and then get crazy making your own creative versions of the Margarita and the Manhattan.
Along the way, you will learn to taste and choose tequila and whiskey, and sample a few locally made products. No visit to Santa Fe is complete without this crash course in cocktails!
This class is perfect for people who love to entertain at home a well as people who love to dine out. After just one class, students leave with a more solid understand of how spirits are made, the proper recipes and techniques to make classic cocktails, and how to create their own signature drink.
It’s a lot of fun, and a great way for people to “raise the bar” for home entertaining!
(Over 21 years of age, only. ID is required to take the class.)
