Design the poster that will be the face of the 2012 Santa Fe Independent Film Festival!

-Winner will be presented at the Santa Fe IFF awards ceremony:
2 All Access Film Festival passes!

-Entries are evaluated on appeal, content, and marketability related to the Santa Fe Independent Film Fest

-Please include in the poster Santa Fe Independent Film Festival and the dates, October 17-21, 2012.

-Designs must be easily translated to a variety of print mediums

-All poster images need to be emailed to SantaFeIFFPosterContest@gmail.com with the subject: POSTER CONTEST

-All submissions need to be in :
.ai or .jpeg/.jpg format

-4 colors max, 2 preferred

-Please keep the file size for your submission as small as you can without sacrificing details, since all of the images will be voted for online (we recommend not having it any larger than 600 pixels)
Please keep dimensions/ratio of poster design reasonable for printing

-If you win the poster contest, you need to be available to make any changes requested (since we typically have sponsors and performers we confirm around then) and submit a print-ready file (at least 300 dpi and as big as 8×11 )

-The poster must be printable and readable in small and large formats (Facebook icon, 8×11 to 13×19 max printable size [or something similar], quarter page flyer size, etc). Don’t worry, you can change things around to fit in these formats, it’s just something to keep in mind.

**By participating in the competition, participants consent to the use and reuse by Santa Fe IFF of their images, edited as Santa Fe IFF may deem appropriate, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in any and all versions, worldwide in perpetuity for any purpose, including but not limited to outreach, promotion, publicity, marketing or advertisement of Santa Fe IFF. Participants represent that they have obtained the necessary permission from any third parties appearing in their images to allow Santa Fe IFF to use their images as set forth in the paragraph immediately preceding this paragraph. Participants grant the rights in this Section whether or not they are selected as Winner. Participants agree not to make any claim against Santa Fe IFF as a result of the use or non-use of their images (including, without limitation, any claim that such use invades any right of privacy and/or publicity). Participants understand that they will not be paid any money or receive any form of compensation for giving Santa Fe IFF these rights or reimbursement of any costs incurred in connection with submitting their images or claiming their prize, including costs of travel to the reception.
