Salsa Fever Dance Competition is heating up the nightlife here in Santa Fe.  Don’t miss your opportunity to join us Thursday Feb.2nd for the finals of the Salsa Fever Dance Competition that has been going on at El Farol for the past 6 weeks. Including competitors from Albuquerque and the surrounding area.  If you think you have what it takes to win this competition then we expect to see you for the finals.

The blending of African drum rhythms and Spanish guitar evolved out of Cuba that transformed the Latin American music world form Son, Danzón, the rhythms of Carnival, Cha cha cha, Mambo, Tango all the way down to Salsa!

We can not talk about Salsa music without talking about the beautiful dancing that goes with this amazing music. The flair, the magic, the romance, the sexuality, those outfits!

Here is a look at the what judges will be looking for the night of the competition. Did I mention that The Santa Fe VIP will be one of the judges!?!?  This is going to be FUN!!  We hope to see everyone with their family and friends.  Make sure you get into the spirit and those amazing dresses ladies and gentlemen make sure to dress the part also, I hope to see some slacks, suspenders, hats and all the fun fashions that go with Salsa dancing!   Olé
