Política is the The Santa Fe VIP’s newest blog developed to entertain and enlighten our readers on the sometimes elusive, but always fascinating nature of New Mexico politics. Focused on delivering the goods on everything local and statewide New Mex government while simplifying some of the heavier material – we’re not here to hear to ourselves as a wax intellectual with the big vocabulary associated with political science, but rather to inspire, involve, and interact with local New Mexicans and the politics that shape their day-to-day lives.
Santa Fe is the seat of New Mexico government and anything passed, voted on, or vetoed takes place in our infamous “Round House.” Our exclusive Politica writer, D.R. Monroe will be bringing forth all the political action in the form of editorials, forums, and interviews with Santa Fe’s biggest hitters discussing the political issues that effect New Mexico the most. With our focus on local politics, we will be giving you full access to City Council, as well as our County and direct City elections!
