D.R. Monroe’s Word House
Here in the word house of The Santa Fe V.I.P., you can find my musings on everything written or spoken in The City Different. Whether it’s spoken word, political discussions at the Lensic, philosophical lectures at St. John’s College or world class Poetry around town. Also, make sure to check out my Dan-ish Inquisitions page where you can write in and ask me any questions about anything and I will reply with brain-seering knowledge and wit!
I was raised in Minnesota and occupied the Great North until moving to Wisconsin to study Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin – after four years of that, I found myself in Santa Fe studying more Philosophy and Literature at St. John’s College. I moved around a bit, but eventually found myself right back here in the city that I love. I am a writer of books, essays, and many vied after short stories. I run an insightful and waggish site by the name of the Lowbrow Sophisticate: www.lowbrowsophisticate.com that I encourage all of you to visit and tell your friends about. It’s been proven by scientists that anyone who visits the site becomes better looking and wittier than all their friends and family.
